Winston-Salem School Corp
Congratulations to Third Grade Teacher Mrs. Heyse! The State of North Carolina has requested that she teach in a staff development event. She will lead a workshop for 240 K-2 teachers in Winston - Salem School Corp on Monday January 23rd. Her workshop is Economics and Personal Finance Skills (Mini-economy). Mrs. Heyse is a renown speaker and author in this area. We are proud of you Mrs. Heyse!

Feature Articles & Deb Bledsoe
Deb Coats Bledsoe, Communications Coordinator for Union County Public Schools, visited Sun Valley Elementary School (SVES) January 24, 2012. She spoke with all students in the fifth grade about her experience writing feature articles. Surrounded by copies of her published articles, she held the rapt attention of 125 students as she described how personal experiences enhanced her writing.
