  • Sun Valley Elementary School conferenced with a Saudi Arabian prince on November 23, 2010.

  • The Union County Rotary Club will present dictionaries to our 3rd grade students on November 15, 2011.

  • Kevin Vickers has been appointed to the East Carolina University Master of Library Science Advisory Board. This role involves providing feedback relating to ECU’s MLS mission and strategic direction with a primary focus on areas related to planning and curriculum. The term of service will be either two or three years.
